Meet Jennifer
Pregnancy, birth and transition into parenthood have great potential for change and transformation. As a midwife it is my greatest privilege to walk alongside women as they traverse this path.
I also happen to be one of the few, incredibly lucky people who work each day doing the thing they love most. I never tire of being invited to share in these moments.
My proudest achievements are my 5 daughters. In all their messy splendour. Second to that is my ability to mother them, which is far messier, but occasionally magnificent.
I believe in a strong philosophy of respectful, and compassionate maternity care, advocacy for individualised care, and supporting women and their families as they step into each stage with confidence.

My Midwifery Story
When I began attending births as a doula in 2007, I was inspired by the awesome power of women and their babies to work together during birth and in the time following.
From the early moments of pregnancy, the creation of a baby sparks the growth of a mother. As a woman builds her child, she also develops her insight, skills, and fortitude for mothering.
I was hooked! By 2014 I had completed my Bachelor of Midwifery and was working as a midwife and childbirth educator, journeying with women and their loved ones in this path of transition. The art and science of midwifery is a passion deeply embedded within me, and it was obvious from the first taste that working in continuity with women was where I needed to be.
Having worked as a Clinical Midwifery Specialist and Homebirth Mentor at the Royal Hospital for Women, Randwick, and working in a Caseload Midwifery Group Practice, my hunger for learning and developing led me to complete studies in pharmacology at Newcastle University.
In time I received my endorsement from AHPRA to prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests and attract Medicare benefits.
In April 2023 I moved into Private Practice Midwifery where I offer Midwifery Services to Women in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney and Surrounds.
Working within the full scope of midwifery, I offer pre-conception, antenatal, birthing and postnatal care, including labour and birth at home or in hospital. Working with women in community and women’s circles adds a layer of support and connection I believe is essential to the transition into motherhood.
Today, I am privileged to be working with women as they grow and birth their babies, keeping the woman’s full self in the centre of my care.
I value safe and respectful maternity care, collaboration with women, their families in addition to midwives, doctors, doulas, and other health professionals and therapists where needed.
